Diabetes Youth Services (DYS) is proud to announce we are starting our first-ever Youth Advisory Board as a vehicle for young people to become involved in a local nonprofit organization merging civic engagement and leadership development. Our Youth Advisory Board’s mission is “Connecting youth to the diabetes community while gaining leadership skills, developing friendships, and having a great time!” By engaging young and enthusiastic individuals, we strive to bring new energy into our mission-based work, while developing future leaders in our community.
