DYS Fall Connect Retreat
Have your young adult join DYS for our Fall Connect Retreat this October 22nd – 23rd from 7:00 – 9:00pm! Connect Retreat will look a little different this year, but will still be a blast and a great way for young adults to make friends for a lifetime who understand the challenges they may be facing. Upon registering, your T1D will receive a box with everything fun they will need for the two nights including a Connect long sleeve t-shirt, sweet treats, and much more! This event will be held via Zoom and any high school through college youth living with T1D is encouraged to attend. You are welcome to include a young adult friend or sibling as long as they are age appropriate. There will be a variety of fun activities and lots of great conversation! Registration is FREE and will be accepted until 10/16/2020.
School Services – DYS can send a trained nurse to your school to get staff ready to confidently manage type 1 diabetes for your students. This training is done at your convenience and can be adjusted to serve your needs. DYS also offers in-class presentations to educate students about type 1 diabetes.
