Big Shots Camp is a resident camp for campers entering grades 7-12. These campers make friends that they will cherish for a lifetime. There is something for everyone from canoeing, crafts , swimming, talent show, and archery.
Middle Shots Camp introduces children entering grades 4 through 7 an opportunity to experience resident camp. They will participate in fun camp activities and meet kids, counselors, and adults that also face the challenges of diabetes.
Little Shots Day Camp is a great first camp experience. Designed for children entering kindergarten through grade 4, these young campers will have a fun-filled week playing and learning with other children managing diabetes.
Why Hot Shot Camp?
Camp is all about firsts! We take every opportunity to encourage the kids to try new ways to manage their diabetes. Not just with diabetes, campers experience a wide variety of fun firsts – staying away from home, climbing an tree, or fishing. They will have a blast enjoying all the fun activities camp has to offer and learn strategies for managing diabetes.
DYS has a long history of campers making friends to whom they can relate. Every child with diabetes has felt alone at some point, but camp is a unique place where they know that they are never alone.
At Hot Shots Camp your child will learn skills, form friendships, and make memories they will cherish for a lifetime!
Be a part of camp! We need talented and dedicated counselors, medical staff and other volunteers to help make camp happen. We would love to have you.
